Returns Policy

While we’d like you to be delighted with every purchase from Slipstitch, we know that sometimes things don’t quite work out. Here are our policies for when you’d like to return a purchase for a refund or exchange.

Refunds and exchanges require a receipt - if there’s any chance you might return something, please take a receipt!

If it’s more than 30 days since your purchase, we can’t refund or exchange it. However, we know that knitting projects don’t always get done in 30 days! To give you peace of mind when buying enough yarn for a project, we have an extended return policy for yarn only. You can return or exchange any unopened balls of yarn for 90 days after purchase.

Any items you wish to return must be unused and in the condition you received it, in the original packaging.

Please don’t buy a pattern or book, photocopy the pages you want and return it. We can tell when you do this.

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on any cut fabrics, ribbons, trims etc.

There are no refunds or exchanges on sale items.

If there is an issue with a purchase you made on our website, please contact us ASAP on

If the issue is at our end i.e. we have sent the wrong colour of yarn, we will cover the cost of postage to return the incorrect item.

If you choose to exchange or return an item ordered online, you will be responsible for the cost of posting your items.
