April Showers Bring Pressed Flowers
Join Slipstitch for a springtime knit-along featuring Amy Christoffers’ popular design
It's time for a Slipstitch knit-along - with your choice of pattern! Amy Christoffers' has a whole collection featuring her floral design. Whether you want a simple kerchief or a full jumper, join us for some social knitting this spring.
Mosaic knitting is an easy way to create colourwork designs only using stripes and slipped stitches. You don't need to have knitted colourwork before to give it a go.
The cost of joining the Knit Along is redeemable against your yarn and supplies - you'll receive a voucher for this amount when you book.
How It Works
- Buy this product! It gets you access to the knit-along socials and emails and you'll receive a voucher for the value of it to use on your yarn
- Choose your pattern from the Pressed Flowers collection - we can also sell them to you in store*
- Use your voucher for your yarn, and ready your needles
- Join us for the virtual launch social on 17th April at 7pm and each Thursday after that for the following three weeks
- You'll receive an email each week with techniques, tips and tricks
- Knit! And share your project online with #SlipstitchKAL
I'll be on hand to guide with techniques and troubleshoot during the zoom socials but this is not a class per se. You'll want to be confident casting on, knitting, slipping stitches etc. before we begin.
Yarn Suggestions
The Pressed Flowers collection uses a variety of weights and kinds of yarns. We've made some pairing suggestions to help you choose.
The shawl, hat, cardigan, vest and mittens would all suit Rowan Felted Tweed. West Yorkshire Spinners' Blue Faced Leicester Fleece DK would make a luxurious cowl. As ever, we love socks in Signature 4ply. The kerchief would show off West Yorkshire Spinners Elements DK, as would the pullover, which would also look great in Wool Revival.
